For teams and organisations

Invest in the people doing the work.

Whether you're running a nonprofit, a company, or a community space, the same pattern shows up: the people who care most and push hardest are usually the first to burn out.

You'll recognise the cost before it arrives. The high performer who starts missing deadlines. The person who used to bring the room alive, who now just gets through the week.

The real cost of losing someone good

Before they leave

Depletion shows up early

A person running on empty produces a fraction of what they're capable of, months before the resignation letter.

The wider effect

Disillusionment is contagious

One burned-out team member changes the culture around them, especially where shared conviction matters.

The replacement problem

Technical skill is the easy part

Combining hard-won knowledge with real commitment, then getting someone new up to speed, takes months.

What walks out

Knowledge that was never written down

Stakeholder relationships and context that made someone genuinely effective, gone.

A few ways to bring this into your organisation, depending on what fits: training for your team, focused 1:1 support for one person, a place on the group programme, or ongoing community for someone carrying a lot.

Team Workshops

The Mental Fitness Workout

An interactive, experiential session, online or in person. 45 mins to half a day, 2–35 participants.

What HR leaders say they notice first

💼 Performance

Less avoidance, more action on what matters. Strategic work gets prioritised over the urgent but trivial.

🤝 Communication

Harder conversations happen sooner and better. Problems surface earlier, while still manageable.

📉 Retention

You stop losing your best people, the ones most likely to leave aren't the ones who don't care.

🌱 Leadership

Leaders model what they're asking of others, and the culture shifts through example.

What organisations say

"I couldn't recommend Sol more highly. His course has given me a whole new toolkit…I feel more grateful and grounded. What a transformative journey it was! Sol has this wonderful ability to create a calm, supportive environment where everyone feels welcome and heard. His skilled facilitation and genuine curiosity helped me explore mindfulness practices in ways that felt both meaningful and accessible. He empowers his students to build lasting habits. I've noticed I'm better at managing my emotions and can better recognise when my thoughts are wandering, allowing me to ground myself more effectively. I've already signed up for his next course!"

Eleanor Gibson, Tilt

"I actually found all elements of the session helpful. What I was really struck by was that people felt that the successes that come to mind is in the strength of the relationships they have built and supportive team - rather than necessarily the deliverables that have been quite hard won - so I think it really resonated with everyone. I think anyone going through this kind of organisational change and process would find this valuable."

HelpAge International

Even within a webinar, Sol creates a space that feels calm, approachable, and emotionally safe. He adapts his tone, language, and examples to suit the audience. Feedback from attendees was consistently strong. Members shared that his sessions supported them through emotionally demanding experiences. People felt more grounded with what they were experiencing, rather than feeling overwhelmed by it. He is open to feedback, flexible when needed, and supports the full process from planning and promotion through to delivery and reflection."

Mahalia Connor, Amicable

"Sol was an absolute professional. He knows his stuff, asks insightful questions and has very positive energy. He was approachable, understanding, and encouraging."

My approach

Most of what's out there for people struggling at work is either therapy or coaching. Mental fitness training does something different: it builds the capacity to catch patterns in the moment, while in the meeting, writing the email, lying awake at 2am, and choose differently.

The word fitness is deliberate. You don't get physically fit by understanding the theory of exercise, you get fit by doing the reps. This is the same: not a framework to study, a practice to repeat until the nervous system learns a new default.

Let's talk

No pressure, no pitch. Just an honest conversation about what you're dealing with, and whether I'm the right person to help.
